How are the numbers chosen?
Your browser generates unique whole numbers within your range by default. Each section then has an equal chance of being selected.
Can I share my own wheel?
Yes. Open Customize Wheel, edit the values, and choose Share or Copy link. Anyone with that link can reconstruct the wheel without an account.
Does the wheel work offline?
After one successful online visit, the wheel and its tool pages are available offline in supporting browsers.
Does every number in the range appear?
No. The wheel displays two to ten sampled numbers. For repeated fresh samples, regenerate the numbers between spins.
Can the minimum be negative?
Yes. Whole numbers between −999,999,999 and 999,999,999 are supported, including negative ranges.
Does spin speed change the result?
No. The winning section is chosen before the animation. Speed only changes how quickly the wheel arrives there.
Can two sections have the same number?
Yes, if you enable Allow duplicate values. Each section remains equally likely, so repeated values have a greater combined chance.
Can I enter specific numbers?
Yes. Edit one value per line in Customize Wheel and choose Apply changes. In number mode every value must remain within your chosen range.
Where is the selected number shown?
The fixed pointer identifies the selected section. The same value appears in the Result card and session history.
Can I use the wheel on a phone?
Yes. The wheel and controls adapt to narrow screens and support touch input.
Can I stop a spin early?
The wheel completes its animation automatically. Use a higher speed or shorter duration for faster selections.
Can I pick words instead of numbers?
Yes. Custom labels support up to 40 characters per section. Longer labels may be shortened visually on the wheel, but full values appear in the result.
Can I choose from more than ten options?
This wheel supports two to ten sections to keep labels readable. Reduce your list to ten options before spinning.
Are 1 and 10 included?
Yes. The minimum and maximum are both included. This preset displays all ten values.
Will the same number appear twice in a row?
It can. Every spin is independent and previous results are not removed from the wheel.
Does this wheel have 100 sections?
No. It displays up to ten sampled numbers from 1–100. Regenerate to sample another set.
Is 100 a possible value?
Yes. Both endpoints are included when numbers are generated.
Is the yes/no wheel evenly weighted?
Yes. With one Yes section and one No section, each has a one-in-two chance on each spin.
Can I add a Maybe option?
Yes. Change the section count to three, add Maybe on a new line, then apply your changes.
Does the picker remove a selected group?
No. Every section remains eligible on every spin. Edit the list and section count if you want to remove a previous selection.
Should I share student names?
Use group numbers or anonymous labels when sharing links. Shared wheel links contain all visible labels and anyone with the link can read them.
Does the wheel make recommendations?
No. It randomly selects a section and does not know which choice is best for you.
Can I save my shortlist?
Copy a shareable link or bookmark it. The fragment stores the wheel settings and labels, without an account.
Can this predict a lottery result?
No. The wheel only chooses among its own displayed sections and cannot predict external events.
Is LuckyWheel free to use?
Yes. The wheel works without an account or a payment.
